My Bio

Well, my first name is Kurt. And the first site on the internet where I had to create an ID I wanted to be "Kurt"
That was alread taken so there too I tried for "batman" which also had been taken.

When I got out of the servise back in 72 I read articles in several publications about an African tribe called the "!Kung"
The alphabet for their language is the same as ours with the addition of the exclamation mark (which in their language resprents the sound of a clicking tongue)
And I just thought it would be cool to have a "!" in my name/ID
Having often been called "turk" by people rearranging the letters in "kurt" I combined the two ideas and got to be "!turk" on Ebay.

A bunch of us left ebay for EZboards and were supposed to use our ebay IDs for our EZnames so everyone would recognize one another
But since at EZ "turk" was taken and "!" was not a permissible character I became "Turk aka Kurt" which is how I had signed most my ebay posts. Turk aka Kurt

Most people called me "turk" in their posts and after my initial ID got hacked I created "turk 49" with the 49 being my birth year.

Later a friend suggested we all create new IDs. And since I was then posting on dccomics.com as "sumo" (the reason being "if you want to have the body of an athlete you either diet and exercize to fit your body to the sport, or else you pick a sport you are already built for") - and by that time it was as though 49 was my last name to most my EZ friends and since just plain "sumo" had been taken . . .

image I do like to use the computer to make my own versions of things I see on the net.
For this I use:
MSPaint,
Irfanview,
http://www.online-image-editor.com/index.cfm,
http://www.gifworks.com/image_editor.html,
http://www.smiliegenerator.com/smiliegenerator_eng.html
depending on what effects I am trying to achieve
The main criteria though is that all these tools work well while being free
